About
Empowering People. Building Skills. Creating Opportunities.
From Boa Bakundu to a Broader Vision
REFORM began in 2015 as a modest computer training centre in Boa Bakundu, Cameroon, with a simple but powerful vision: to use technology and practical skills to create opportunities for people who had limited access to education, employment and digital resources.
From its beginnings in Boa Bakundu, REFORM has progressively expanded its activities beyond basic computer literacy. Through training, mentorship and practical skills development, the organisation has supported people to acquire knowledge and competencies that improve their livelihoods and increase their participation in the digital and economic life of their communities.
Founding Commitment
The initiative was established and single-handedly financed by Mrs. Rosina Hug and the Rev Muma Kingsly, whose commitment to education, technology and community development provided the foundation upon which REFORM has continued to grow. What started as a computer training centre has evolved into a broader vocational education and skills development initiative.
Serving Communities & Vulnerable Populations
Over the years, REFORM has trained internally displaced persons (IDPs), underprivileged women, unemployed and disadvantaged youths, providing them with opportunities to develop practical skills, improve their confidence and pursue employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship.
Practically Grounded
Our approach recognizes that education should not only provide certificates—it should equip people with the knowledge, practical skills, confidence and entrepreneurial capacity needed to participate meaningfully in the economy.
Inclusive Growth
The experience gained through our early community-based learning initiatives has directly shaped REFORM's transition toward a comprehensive vocational training and enterprise development model.
Sustainable Impact
We combine digital education with practical, market-oriented training to ensure long-term self-reliance for every learner who passes through our doors.
Our Areas of Intervention
REFORM addresses community challenges through dynamic, targeted development pathways.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
At the heart of REFORM is a commitment to ensuring that opportunities are accessible to people who are often excluded from mainstream education and economic opportunities.
We particularly seek to support young people, women, internally displaced persons, unemployed people and disadvantaged communities by creating pathways to practical education, employment and entrepreneurship.
Bridging the Gap
"We believe that talent exists in every community. What is often missing is access—to technology, training, mentorship, finance, networks and opportunity."
REFORM exists to help bridge that gap.Our Vision
A skilled, empowered and economically productive generation with the knowledge and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods and stronger communities.
Our Mission
To provide accessible, practical and market-relevant education, vocational training, digital skills and entrepreneurship opportunities that empower young people, women and disadvantaged communities to secure employment, create businesses and contribute to sustainable community development.
Our Journey Through the Years
REFORM's growth can be understood across three key developmental milestones:
Skills Create Possibilities
REFORM's future is built around the conviction that skills create possibilities and opportunities create transformation.
Clear Pathways
Through our vocational education, digital initiatives, agricultural activities, and entrepreneurship support, we build practical pathways from learning to employment, from skills to enterprise, and from vulnerability to economic independence.
Collaborative Growth
We are committed to working with training institutions, development organisations, donors, employers, investors, government institutions and technical partners to expand access to quality skills development.
Our Story Continues
What began in 2015 as a computer training centre in Boa Bakundu has grown into a vision for an institution where people can learn, develop practical skills, discover opportunities and build better futures.
